Perth Scorchers Batsman Tim David Signs
Perth Scorchers Tim David checks-in for the 2020 season
West Bridgfordians can confirm the capture of 23-year-old Perth Scorchers and Singapore international Tim David for the upcoming SNCL season.
Tim has averaged 53.25 with the bat in his professional career and taken a total of 9 wickets. In 2017 he was offered a spot on the WACA Academy list, where he played a world class bowling attack of the England’s Ashes side scoring 37. This was followed up with an unbeaten 55 off 39 deliveries in a T20 match against the England Lions.
Ahead of the T20 World Cup Qualifiers last October, the ICC named Tim as the player to watch in Singapore’s squad. He went onto score 127 runs in 6 innings, with the highlight coming against Papua New Guinea when he smashed 44 from 26 balls.
“This is a fantastic signing for us” said club captain, Alastair Pettit.
“I am delighted with the support the club has shown to bring in an overseas professional of this calibre ahead of the coming season.
Tim will be pivotal to our performances, as well as growing and developing our extremely talented junior members. We’re looking forward to welcoming him to West Bridgford this summer.”
Tim David is available to sponsor ahead of the forthcoming season. If you would be interested in marketing your business through a professional athlete please contact craig@westbridgfordianscc.co.uk
