Ben Ryder scored his maiden ton for WBCC on Saturday as the 1st XI racked up 321-4 (48 overs) against Notts Unity Casuals.

Opening the innings with Ali Pettit (58), Ryder's magnificent innings came to end on Nelson, 111. Andy Sharpe continued his good form with 42 along with Alex Sheriston (41*).

In reply the 1s couldn't snag the last wicket to grab the win with the final pair of Jugni and Karim shutting up shop to leave the visitors on 210-9.

A winning draw (18 points) gets the 1s back on track for the summer.

The 2nd XI took a beating from Hickling after restricting the hosts to 180-5 off their 45 overs. Tim Martin was the pick of the bowlers with 4-23. In reply the 2s were skittled for 50 with only captain Terrill making double figures.

The 3rd XI also lost at Adbolton Lane. After inserting Clifton 3s the visitors racked up 223-9 with Scott Berridge taking 5-39.

In reply only a returning Andy Jeffery (68) showed any grit as the 3s were dismissed for 120.

The 4th XI won their first game of the season at Keyworth 3s. The home side were bowled out for 166 with Emily Bennet taking 3-25 on her debut.

In reply the 4s got home for the loss of 7 wickets with Sam Fitzgerlad hitting 46* and Luke Burton 30*.
