It was 5 games and 5 defeats for WBCC this weekend despite being in some decent positions to win the games.

The 1st XI racked up 252-3 at Kimberley with Ben Ryder going 1 run better than the previous weekend with 112*, ably assisted by Sherro (71). However the 1s had no answer to home opener Carl Blake who spanked 140 as the home side won 3 down with over 3 overs to spare.

The 2nd XI fell away after a Spraggy 70 and Kwesi 46 to posted a moderate 185 at home to Sutton Bonington. The 2s hadn't reckoned on Tim Berridge who single handedly won the game for the visitors with a chanceless 133* and over 8 overs to spare.

The 3rd XI lost at Hoveringham. After only posting a well below par 140-8 the home team cruised to victory with Tim Eatherington hitting an unbeaten 95.

The 4th XI slumped after restricting Notts and Arnold to 130-8 at Adbolton but girl power thwarted the 4s as Ellie Bradbury, Pav Landa and Chloe Rudkin ripped throught the batting with only Dawny's 35 a highlight.

The Sunday 1s also crumbled after posting a below par 136-7 at Chilwell. The home side romped home with over 16 overs to spare.
