3 wins for the Saturday teams and tie nearly capped off a perfect SNCL round of matches.

For the 1st XI there were three outstanding performances with Ben Shaw scoring his second WBCC 100 of the summer with a glorious 117. Ben ran himself himself out to get skipper Alex Shersitonon strike and Sherro duly completed his 100 with the last ball of the innings to finish on exactly 100*.

In the 2nd innings of the game Chris Watkins took 5 for 50 as the 1s wrapped up a huge margin of victory over Gedling and Sherwood.

The 2nd XI grabbed a tie from the jaws of defeat with Chris Navin producing the performance of the day with 68 runs and 3-29 with the ball.

The 3rds travelled to Hoveringham and captain Scott Berridge hit his first ever WBCC ton with a cracking 115*. Coupled with Ian Graham's brutal 73 off 33 it left James Davis to produce a cracking spell of 5-18 to gain his best figures for WBCC.

The 4th XI recovered from 4-3 and 29-5 to post 114-9 thanks to 13yo Matt Boothrights 21* off 88 balls and Chris Sibley's 26 and Joe Blaney's 23.

In reply Hucknall 4s found the going as tough as the 4s did with Joe Blaney 3-12 and 13yo Dan James 3-20 backing up Chris Sibley 2-14 and 12yo Joe Holding 2-5 as they could only muster 56 in reply.
