We've reached the half way stage of the Senior cricket season so we'd thought we'd have a look and see how our teams are doing so far.

In SNCL Division B the 1st XI sit in 5th place, 14 points off second place. After a great start June proved to be rather tough with 2 defeats and a no result, before a much weakened side grabbed a winning draw away at Kimberley on Saturday. With more tough games to come the season is in the balance!

In Division D the second XI also brought a losing streak to an end on Saturday with an excellent win at home to Newark R&M. Again a much changed side won against the odds and moved the 2s into 3rd spot, 11 points behind Ellerslie in 2nd.

The 3s are having a tough time of things and remain winless in Division H. It will take a lot of effort to avoid relegation this summer, but hopefully Scott's boys can turn things round now that exams have finished!

The 4th XI are chugging along in mid table in Division N. Plenty of juniors are playing for the team, some standing out more than the old duffers, but things are looking promising for the side.
